School policity
The International School of Lubumbashi begins its second academic year with a strong sense of purpose and direction. After officially opening in 2024, the school has taken its first steps toward establishing itself as a respected educational institution int the city. While the opening year presented several challenges including modest enrollment, limited visibility, and ongoing facility development it also offered valuable opportunities. These early months allowed the school to build close relationships with families, test and strengthen our systems, and begin shaping a school culture based on trust, care and academic ambitions.
As we look ahead, our focus is on growth both in the number of students we serve and in the quality of education we provide. Our small size has allowed us to deliver highly personalized learning, but also has shown the need for a more structured approach to outreach, communication and long term planning. The experience of our first year, combined with growing interest from the local and international community positions us well to take the next step.
