An empowered and innovative education in Grades 6 to 8.
Middle school at ISL Â is a pivotal stage where students build on foundational skills and explore a broad range of subjects. ISL focuses on critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and global awareness to prepare students for the International Baccalaureate program. Our students are encouraged to think creatively, tackle modern challenges, and become responsible global citizens.

Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Entrepreneurship Education -
Students deepen their literacy and communication competencies in both languages through the study of literary and informational texts, writing for different purposes, research, presentations, discussion, and collaboration.
Mathematics
The US Common Core Standards are rigorously covered with aim that every ISL student becomes confident and proficient in mathematics.
Social Studies
Civic engagement, geography, history, and global interdependence skills’ development is guided by the C3 Framework.
Project-Based Learning
Real-world, collaborative projects integrating multiple subjects to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, addressing the challenges presented in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Physical Education & Wellness
Well-being and good health are promoted through weekly teacher-guided physical education lessons
Personal, Social&Emotional Learning
ISL placed the development of self-awareness, teamwork and values-driven behaviours through this program of study.
